Dr. Erin Boss has been providing compassionate veterinary care to pets and their families in Fort Worth since joining Arlington Heights Animal Hospital in 2015. With more than 14 years of experience in companion animal medicine, she is passionate about preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and helping pets enjoy healthier, happier lives through every milestone.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Boss earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2009 before continuing on to Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. During veterinary school, she gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of species, including companion animals, livestock, and marine mammals.

After graduation, Dr. Boss began her career in general practice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area in 2013, where she worked as a relief veterinarian before joining Arlington Heights Animal Hospital two years later.

Known for her thoughtful and straightforward approach, Dr. Boss believes that great veterinary care begins with trust and communication. She values educating pet owners, answering questions honestly, and partnering with families to make informed decisions about their pets’ health. If she doesn’t know an answer, she’ll tell you—and she’ll do the research needed to provide the best possible recommendation.

Dr. Boss earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2009.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Boss enjoys coaching her two sons’ sports teams, reading, and cooking. She and her husband stay busy raising their two boys and love spending time together as a family. Whether she’s on the sidelines cheering on her kids or mentoring future veterinarians, Dr. Boss enjoys investing in the people and community around her just as much as she enjoys caring for pets.
