As of September 2024, Arlington Heights Animal Hospital has updated our policy regarding prescription requests from outside pharmacies.
Due to a significant increase in these requests and our commitment to focusing on the medical care of our patients, our doctors will be changing the written prescriptions.
Our team remains dedicated to providing the highest level of care to all patients in our practice. To ensure that we maintain our primary focus on veterinary medicine, we ask for your understanding and cooperation during this transition.

Purchase your pet’s medication, preventatives, and prescription diets conveniently at our practice and enjoy competitive pricing with immediate savings thanks to our vendor partnerships! Our team will guide you through all available savings options to ensure you leave with the best product tailored to your pets needs.
AHAH's Online Pharmacy!
Have your pet’s medications shipped directly to your home through our online store, where you can enjoy competitive pricing and manufacturer/auto-ship discounts. Most orders qualify for free shipping! Additionally, the medications are sent straight to your pet’s veterinary team, allowing us to ensure the correct medication, quantity, and instructions. Prefer to Purchase from an Outside Pharmacy?
(Chewy, Costco, Walgreens, etc) No problem! Our doctors can provide a written prescription at your appointment. you may also pick one up at our practice or we are happy to mail it to you. When requesting outside of your appointment, please allow a 3-5 day turnaround. What’s the biggest change? We will no longer be handling the direct communications with outside pharmacies.
